Japanese voice actor Tamura Makoto performs overseas for the first time in Dubai

Dubai: Makoto Tamura, the voice actor for King in “One Piece” and the Japanese version of the Marvel film “Black Panther,” will perform his first overseas concert in Dubai on October 4th and 5th.

The two-day event, titled FNDM, held at Dubai Outlet Mall, is organized by the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) and promises an immersive celebration of anime, comics, cosplay, games, art, and music.

Tamura will appear at autograph sessions and exclusive panels. A detailed schedule will be announced soon.

FNDM will also feature international comic creators, including Dexter Soy, creator of “Captain Marvel” and other works; UAE-based illustrator Jane Pica; and Paolo Pantalena, known for “Teen Titans.”

The event will also feature an Artist Alley where regional artists can showcase their talents, and a Fandom Stage where cosplayers and collectors can celebrate their most beloved works.

FNDM Show Director Roy Pinheiro said, “We created FNDM as a way to give back to the fans who have built an incredible community around MEFCC over the years.”

Tickets are available for purchase online from AED 65 (approximately JPY 2,609).
